Fivio Foreign just dropped his latest project “B.I.B.L.E.” and he has a list of artists featured on the project including Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Quavo, and many others. However, one record that is starting to become a fan favorite is his record “What’s My Name,” which features Queen Naija and Coi Leray.
The song samples Destiny’s Child’s classic record “Say My Name,” from their 1999 album “The Writings on the Wall.”
During his interview on Ebro in the Morning, Fivio shared that Beyoncé asked him to clean up his lyrics a little before she cleared the record for his album.
“She had to hear it. It was a little vulgar a little bit for her at first,” he said. “I cleaned it up a lot. Yeah, it was like you can’t be talking about girls like that. But afterward Big John and em explained to me too like it’s a bigger record now, to clean it up, it’s bigger now.”
Fivio continued to explain after cleaning up his parts of the record, some of Coi’s parts had to be cleaned up as well, and for a second, he thought it would be over for the record. However, after receiving a call from Big John, he learned that the record had finally been cleared.
As we previously reported, last August Fivio gave us the scoop on his album after connecting with Kanye West on his album “Donda.” Fivio shared that Ye would be working as a producer on his project.
Just last month, Fivio released his lead single “City of Gods,” which features Ye and Alicia Keys.
Outside of his personal project, Fivio has also been climbing the charts as the featured artist on Nicki Minaj’s latest single “We Go Up.”
