Momma knows best! Fetty Wap’s mother joins him in telling TMZ cameras how he really lost his eye.
Long story short, there were no guns involved. Fetty Wap says he was six-months old when he lost his eye to glaucoma; his mom co-signs and reveals that he was born with the disease.
“See! That’s the truth. I didn’t get shot or hit with firecrackers,” he said.
Another fun fact: Fetty wap had reconstructive surgery and received a prosthesis when he was twelve, which he had until recent, “and I just stopped wearing the prosthesis so I didn’t look like everybody else.”
We’ve all heard the rumors floating, but he says the craziest story he’s heard was that he was shot in the face with a shotgun. He then said he’s heard worse but that particular one doesn’t make sense because he actual face is fine.
Even with only one eye, he see’s the silver lining, “I don’t hide this, this is who I am, This is what I am, I got one eye, man, I’m blessed.”
