Chris Brown stepped back into the music scene with the release of his deluxe ’11:11′ album on Wednesday (April 10). As fans enjoyed the project’s 35 songs, some noticed what seemed like shady bars in the song ‘Freak.’ By Thursday morning, Chris Brown was trending over speculations that he threw shots at Quavo.

What Do Fans Think Chris Brown Said About Quavo?
A few lines into verse two of ‘Freak,’ Chris Brown raps:
“Okay, now f**kin’ my old b***h ain’t gon’ make us equal / Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Cuervo / Freak b***h, she like the Casamigos, not the Migos / I don’t f**k with bougie b****es, man, that sh*t is all hype.”
Though he doesn’t name-drop Quavo, folks on social media are speculating that “Cuervo” is a double-entendre for “Quavo.” What sauced these speculations is the fact that Chris Brown DID mention Quavo’s former rap group Migos.

Chris hasn’t confirmed or denied who the bars are about, and Quavo hasn’t publicly reacted to ‘Freak.’ But that hasn’t stopped social media from popping off and speculating that Karrueche Tran, Chris’ ex-GF, might be at the center of their alleged beef.
Rumors of Karrueche and Quavo dating due to sightings together started in 2017. She exclusively told The Shade Room in March 2022 that she and Quavo were not dating after Entertainment Tonight romantically linked them. Months later, in May, she and Quavo were spotted in Jamaica at the same time.

Two weeks ago, JT and GloRilla also traded insults on social media, but it doesn’t seem like any reconciliation has happened there yet.
