Famous Composer Sues Kanye West For $2.5 Million!

Remember Kanye West’s song called “New Slaves” from his ‘Yeezus’ album? Well,  Mr. West is now being sued for apparently jacking the ending of his song from a popular Hungarian composer.

According to TMZ, Gabor Presser gave Ye permission to use a snippet of his song called, “Gyöngyhajú Lány,” before it was released in 2013 but only under the conditions that a proper license agreement be worked out.  The rapper gave him $10k in advance and then went on to release the song in 2013. Well apparently the $10k was never even cashed and now Pressor is seeking for more mula!

Presser took the matter to the Southern District Court of New York on Friday where he claims that the Chicago rapper “knowingly and intentionally misappropriated” his song which he describes as “one of the most beloved pop songs ever in Hungary and across Eastern Europe” and is now seeking $2.5 million in damages!
