Last night, Ray J and Raz-B were involved in a minor scuffle, and video of the incident started to make its rounds throughout social media. They both spoke with us about the incident, which resulted from a business disagreement that the two are currently experiencing.
Things temporarily became heated as the two have been dealing with some post-production issues on a project they teamed up on. Ray J and Raz came together to work on a show for a network. However, after reviewing the footage, they both realized how violent the show is, and Ray J, who is the producer and director, has expressed hopes of the network shutting down the show because he thinks it’s “bad for the culture.”
Raz-B also agrees that the footage for the show is violent and explicit, however, he says the show was Ray’s idea and now he’s [Raz] looking crazy to the investors on the project, now that Ray J no longer wants the project to see the light of day.
Raz said, “If the company wants to put the footage out, what can I do if they pay for it?”
Ray J shares that although he is not fully on board with the project’s release, he really wants to help out the individuals that were a part of the violent altercations featured on the show.
“My intention is to help at the end of it all, get all of those people help and guidance,” he said.
Both Ray J and Raz say their scuffle was not a big deal, and they’re both operating from a place of love.
Ray J later stepped into The Shade Room to speak about the clip of the altercation that was posted and deleted by Raz-B and said,
“We had a misunderstanding- I didn’t even push him like that- and I’m taking a pic with that girl and that’s why u hear ‘Bobby you should be up here!’ Clearly, you can see her posing for a pic smh. Come on Raz! Damn, I can’t win for losing.”
