Christian Obumseli, 27, died after he was fatally stabbed Miami earlier this month and people want to know exactly why. Reportedly, police were called about a domestic dispute overheard in the Edgewater neighborhood apartment on April 3rd 2022. Christian Obumseli’s friends and family allege that his girlfriend, 25-year-old Courtney Tailor aka Courtney Clenney, is to blame for fatally stabbing him.
Recently surfaced photo obtained by TMZ show Tailor covered in blood at the scene of the killing. Tailor’s attorney, however, recently declared that his client acted in self-defense in a statement. So who is to blame?
The Shade Room’s investigative reporter Justin Carter explores these conflating allegations and more in his latest episode of TSR Investigates.
Justin Carter conducted his own investigation into the tragic incident, exclusively speaking with Obumseli’s cousin Jessica Nwabuko. They discussed the aftermath of Christian being fatally stabbed and her opinion about his girlfriend. Jessica addressed what she believes happened to her cousin that fateful day Jessica was covered in his blood. She also talked about the public’s perception of Christian Obumseli and his offensive tweets about Black women not being his dating preference that were unearthed on social media.
Jessica defended her cousin’s past offensive tweets, stating that they were made when he was a teenager.
“He was 17-years-old. He was a high school kid. I’m pretty sure that everybody who was young was just saying senseless things and not thinking anything of it. I just think his dating preference [is] white women.
Jessica added that Christians Obumseli’s tweets don’t justify him being stabbed to death.
“I’ll just say that I never knew he was tweeting those things back then, but that doesn’t mean he should die or be murdered.”
