Ex #MiamiHeat player #RasualButler and his wife, singer #LeahLaBelle, were killed in a tragic car crash early this morning in Studio City, CA.
38-year old Butler reportedly lost control of his Range Rover around 2 a.m. Wednesday and hit a parking meter then slammed into a wall. The car flipped over. Police believe that he was speeding before the crash.
If LaBelle looks familiar to you, you may remember her from #AmericanIdol. She placed 12th on the 3rd season back in 2004 and later signed to Epic Records.
Butler also played in the NBA until 2016 with the Hornets, the Clippers, the Bulls, the Raptors, the Pacers, the Wizards and the Spurs. He recently played on Ice Cube’s Big3 league.
