The summer is quickly coming to an end, which means that the premiere dates to some of our favorite television shows are right around the corner.
Lee Daniels’ scripted series “Star,” had a successful first season, and now the show will be coming back with some major names added to the cast.
According to Deadline, Evan Ross and Mike Epps have been named as new additions to the Fox scripted series.
Evan Ross snagged the role of Angel, “the nephew to Jahil Rivera (Benjamin Bratt) and a DJ with a bad-boy streak who is heavy in the Latin music scene.”
Mike Epps will appear in the “Empire”/ “Star” crossover episode as “Jay Holland, the girls’ record label president who is willing to cross the line with one of them.”
Previously it was reported that Luke James would also be a part of the cast, he will play a top-selling R&B artist at the girls’ record label.
