Hours after The Shade Room broke an exclusive story about Eliza Reign’s lawsuit against Future, the insta-model highlighted his absence in their daughter’s life.
On Friday, a source exclusively told TSR that Future asked Eliza to drop her child support lawsuit two months ago. Apparently, Future, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, set a date to meet Reign Wilburn at the same time he requested the drop. But, the Mask Off artist allegedly didn’t keep his daddy-daughter date.
Late Friday night, the model, real name Eliza Seraphin, accused Future of dropping the fatherhood ball again this week. In an Instagram Story post, the mama of one revealed Future allegedly didn’t show Reign any birthday love.
“You can hate me, which IDGAF,” Eliza said. “But to not tell your daughter happy birthday you gotta be a piece of [poop emoticon.]”
Future previously admitted to having a relationship with Eliza from 2016-2018, which led to the birth of their daughter in April 2019. Earlier this week, Reign celebrated turning three years old with a birthday party.
Future and Eliza have seemingly struggled to settle into a co-parenting situation from the jump. From lawsuits to social media drags, both parents have publicly expressed their distaste for one another.
Future didn’t take a DNA test to establish his paternity until a judge ordered one. He also filed, and later dropped, a defamation lawsuit against his child’s mother. At one point, he called for Eliza to undergo a mental evaluation. Future also accused Eliza of calling Reign a “check baby.”
In turn, Eliza has previously asked a judge to lock Future up for failing to provide his financial information, as ordered by the court. She’s also made plenty of social media posts since 2019 blasting Future for his lack of involvement in Reign’s life. Her most recent blast on Friday included a dig at his supporters.
“But y’all gone keep praising that [clown emoticon] that don’t do right by 90% of his kidsssssssss,” Eliza wrote.
Neither Future nor his mother have reportedly met Reign. However, the rapper is shelling out some child support coins. In 2020, a judge recommended $3,200 as his monthly payments, but Eliza is seeking more with her lawsuit.
Eliza and Future will return to court on July 22 and July 23rd for a pretrial hearing on their child support situation.
