Dylann Roof’s friend, Meek, probably wishes he would’ve never met Dylan because he was sentenced to 27 months behind bars for not informing police about Roof’s plans to shoot up the Charleston church in South Carolina, according to CNN.
“I don’t know if I will make it out of prison alive. I’m scared,” Meek told the court during the sentencing hearing, the station reported.
“I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “[I] really wish I would have called the cops.”
According to Yahoo, Meek thought Dylann was all talk initially because they were drinking and smoking marijuana when he told him about his plans to shoot up the church. To make matters worse, Meek convinced another friend to not go to the police and give them Dylann’s name!
