During a recent episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” actress Drew Sidora spoke about briefly dating LeBron James, and that caused some folks to get confused about timelines when it comes to LeBron’s relationship with his wife Savannah.
During the episode of RHOA, Drew and her cast mates were enjoying dinner out in New York City, and during their table discussion, Kenya Moore asked the ladies to name the most famous person they had been hit on by. When it was Drew’s turn to name a celebrity, she said,
“I was on Melrose and we were at a restaurant and a certain King of the NBA sent me over a drink.”
Names then started to be called out at the table, however, they were censored on the show. Drew did say this was before he [this person she was hit on by] was married.
“We went on a couple of dates, he flew me to his games,” Drew continued to explain. “He would listen to my music before his games…all them games he was winning was off of my music.”
During her confessional, Kenya Moore joked and said, “Chile Drew is talking about Laquan, ya’ll just heard it wrong.”
The question of timelines came about when people realized that LeBron and his wife Savannah had been dating since they were in high school, and they welcomed their first child together in 2004.
Drew’s sister/ manager Allison Jordan took to social media to shut down the rumors that Drew had an affair with LeBron and said they met around 2002-2003.
She said,
“They dated, they talked on the phone day and night, we went to games, we went to dinners, we weren’t sneaking through back alleyways, going through dark tunnels. I know and hung out with Randy his uncle, I know LeBron James to be a cool guy, a wonderful person, his team. Him and Drew liked each other, they were cool.”
Allison then encouraged people to Google LeBron James and Drew Sidora in 2003 and pointed out that LeBron and Savannah didn’t officially tie the knot until 2013.
“Stop spreading the lies, spreading that she had an affair. We come from a family, my father’s a pediatrician, my mom’s a pastor, we don’t sleep with other people’s husbands okay, we just don’t do that,” said Allison.
Drew has not further discussed the situation, and LeBron James has not spoken out about the matter at all.
