Drake’s highly anticipated album, “Views” was released back in April and the project continues to top the charts six months later.
According to Billboard, Drake’s “Views” album debuted at number one on Billboard’s 200 back on May 21st and has been in the top five for the past 26 weeks.
Drake’s album is one of seven to be in the top five for 26 weeks or more. The first album dates back to 1963.
Adele holds the title with the most weeks within the top five, with her 2011 album “21” remaining on the charts for 39 weeks. Michael Jackson follows with his “Bad” album spending 38 weeks in the top five.
Although 2016 is quickly coming to an end, Drake is still not finished when it comes to the new music. He has his latest project, “More Life,” scheduled to drop in December.
Recently he premiered his singles, “Sneakin,” “Fake Love,” and the controversial “Two Birds, One Stone,” on his OVO Sound Radio. All three tracks are expected to appear on his upcoming project.
Congrats to Drake.
