Drake’s Producer Noah ‘40’ Shebib Explains Why Kanye West Is Credited On ‘Two Birds One Stone’

Many fans were excited to hear Drake’s new music, and hear that he has a new project dropping very soon. However, when they heard the shots being thrown at Kid Cudi on, “Two Birds One Stone,” that caused many people to become upset.

However, since then it was revealed on Tidal that Kanye West was listed as a producer, composer and lyricist of the track.

Many people started to question Kanye, as Kid Cudi was once an artist on his GOOD Music label. Also following the release of the song, Kanye showed love to Cudi at a recent show, asking fans to sing “Father Stretch My Hands” for him.

According to Billboard, Noah ‘40’ Shebib talked with Genius and explained exactly why Kanye West was credited for the song.

Noah talked about collaborating with Kanye on the songs production and said, “I made it from some drums he had given me. Not quite the elaborate story the world is looking for.”

A source also told Genius, that when someone produces a song, they are also credited as a writer as well.

Simply stating that Kanye had nothing to do with the songs lyrics, but with the production of the music. Both Kanye and Noah have shared producing credits on other songs as well, the most recent being, “U With Me?,” from “Views From The 6.”

So there you have it! Kanye had no parts in Drake’s words towards Kid Cudi on the song.
