Tonight the 2017 Billboard Music Awards goes down in Las Vegas, and fans throughout the world are excited to see their favorite celebs hit the carpet and hit the stage.
One artist that will be hitting the stage tonight is none other than Drake.
This is his first performance at an award show since joining Rihanna on stage at the 2016 BRITs to perform their hit single “Work.”
With the success of his latest project, “More Life,” everyone is questioning what exactly Drake will perform tonight, and if he’ll bring out someone special on stage.
According to Billboard, Mark Bracco, the executive vice president of programming and development with Dick Clark Productions and the Billboard Music Awards’ executive producer, dropped a few details on Drizzy’s performance.
He said, “We built a real terrific relationship with his team, working creatively with them and coming up with a big idea, and I think it’s gonna be a very, very big moment in the show.”
He continued, “It’s not a surprise necessarily but it’s gonna be a moment that people aren’t exactly expecting…. It’ll be memorable, I promise you that.”
Drake has already won a few awards ahead of tonight’s show, which includes “Top Billboard 200 Artist,” “Top Song Sales Artist,” “Top Hot 100,” “Top Streaming Songs Artist,” “Top Rap Artist,” “Top Rap Tour,” “Top Rap Album,” “Top R&B Song,” “Top R&B Collaboration,” and “Top Streaming Song (Audio).”
