Wayment! Drake has social media users gagged after debuting his latest Caribbean accent on a remix track. The rapper joined fellow Canadian artist Snowd4y on ‘Wah Gwan Delilah,’ a play on Plain White T’s ‘Hey There Delilah.’
As mentioned, ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ is a new release that arrived on Monday (June 3). The song lasts nearly four minutes, and Snowd4y has been promoting it all over his Instagram page. Drake also showed the tune some love on IG, posting the song on a streaming platform to his Story with the caption, “@Snowd4y wake up the city [laughing and exhale emojis].”
Both artists seemed to sample heavily exaggerated Caribbean accents on the song, even using Jamaican lingo like “gwan” mixed with Toronto lingo like “cheesed.”
In verse two, Drake raps:
“Wah gwan, Delilah? Know I’m late ’cause there’s bare traffic. I just show my dog your ‘gram. He said he knows a man that slapped it, I’m so cheesed. Your ‘mademoiselle’ nights are geeked, I’m bend lowkey. Wah gwan, Delilah? Double date me if you like me, brought my cro’nem for your bestie. Sorry, he’s wearin’ a shiesty, he’s not beat. It’s just too smokey in these streets. You’re looking sweet.”

Meanwhile, fans and critics of Drizzy Drake are cuttin’ up at his accent and lingo used in the bubbling track. Keep scrolling to see what’s being said.
At this point, it’s unclear if the track is some sort of inside joke! However, it’s not the only feature Drake has hopped on recently.
He also gagged on social media when he worked with Sexyy Red on ‘U My Everything’ and partially rapped on Metro Boomin’s ‘BBL Drizzy’ beat, which the producer released as a diss-trumental against him.
