Roommates, we are continuing to keep Dr. Dre lifted in prayer as he continues to heal from having a brain aneurysm.
According to TMZ, sources close to Dre have revealed that he is still in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The source added that doctors have continued to run a number of tests to figure out what caused the problem. Therefore, doctors want him to remain in ICU to closely monitor his condition and to prevent things from getting worse.
However, it is being reported that Dre is resting comfortably, and the source added that doctors have already informed his family that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be on the horizon.
As previously reported, he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last week Monday and taken to ICU as doctors worked to figure out what caused the bleeding.
Shortly after the news about his hospitalization started to make its rounds, Dre posted a thank you message to his Instagram and said, “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
Prior to the news that Dre was hospitilized, it was revealed that his estranged wife Nicole Young had filed court documents detailing that he has $262 million, as she continued to fight for spousal support. In the end, after his brain aneurysm, Dre finally agreed to pay Nicole $2 million in temporary spousal support. He was a able to negotiate a deal that would allow him to write her a one-time check for the $2 million and that’s all he’ll pay, at least until their next divorce hearing in April.
