Roommates, it’s been a little over a week since Dr. Dre was rushed to the hospital after suffering a recent brain aneurysm—and finally some good news has emerged about his progress. Fellow rapper Ice T confirmed on social media that Dr. Dre has finally left the hospital and is home recuperating.
Thanks to a timely update from Ice T, Dr. Dre fans can breathe a sigh of relief after a stressful week waiting to find out the latest on his current health crisis. Sources reportedly revealed that Dre was discharged from the hospital earlier today. Although he is on the road to recovery, he still needs medical attention.
Apparently, medical professionals will be at Dr. Dre’s home around the clock to monitor him for the next few weeks to make sure he’s okay.
He was reportedly in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles until January 13th and then moved to a private room. Additionally, doctors are still unsure on what caused the brain aneurysm—which is one of the main reasons he will receive at-home-care.
As we previously reported, @TMZ_TV broke the news that Dr. Dre suffered the brain aneurysm and was then rushed by ambulance to Cedars Sinai and was taken directly to ICU, where he was being treated by medical specialists. The aneurysm comes in the middle of his currently very nasty divorce from soon-to-be ex-wife Nicole Young.
