Whew! Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been sharing words on social media after Donnie called Musk a “bullsh*t artist” during a rally in Alaska over the weekend. Elon responded with a few tweets on Monday evening, and Donnie took to his own platform with more words on Tuesday.
During the rally on Saturday night, Donnie mocked Elon after he announced he was no longer moving forward with his $44 billion deal to acquire Twitter. Trump claimed he saw Musk’s Twitter contract, and stated that he wouldn’t be buying the platform because of it.
Shortly after Musk clapped back, essentially telling Trump to take several seats!
I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat and sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack–don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.
Elon Musk Says Trump Is ‘Too Old’
He also commented on Trump’s age after a commenter mentioned Trump possibly running for office next term.
Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2023, then DeSantis will easily win — he doesn’t even need a campaign.”
Donald Trump didn’t take kindly to Elon’s response. In reaction, he alleged that the tech mogul asked for his help with subsidies for many of his projects in a post on Truth Social, the social media site he started after being banned from Twitter. Trump stated that Musk’s projects would be “worthless” without his help and even said that Elon would “drop to [his] knees and beg” if he told him to do so.
When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driveless cars that crash, or rocketshits to nowhere, without wich subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it…”
Elon Musk is currently being sued by Twitter for pulling out of the deal to purchase the social media platform.
