Roommates, get into this! Presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump brought out controversial New York rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow during his Bronx rally on May 23.
NY Daily News reported that the two artists exchanged pleasantries with the presidential candidate and then briefly spoke to the MAGA attendees.
The rappers appearing at Donald’s rally shocked social media. According to Newsweek, police investigated and arrested the entertainers in May 2023 for murder conspiracy, illegal firearm possession, and shooting shootings. 30 additional people were also indicted.
Sleepy Hallow — born Tegan Chambers — is facing criminal conspiracy charges involving gun possession. He forked over the moola for his bond in Feb. 2023 after serving eight months in jail.
Additionally, Sheff G was released on bond last month. The rapper, whose real name is Michael Williams, was charged with conspiracy and multiple counts of murder. Furthermore, he was charged with assault and possession of weapons.
Moreover, prosecutors allege Williams is linked to over a dozen shootings. He had served a separate two-year sentence for a gun charge.
The former President seemed excited to have Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow hit the stage at the BX rally.
“Come on up, fellas!” Donnie said as he introduced them to the predominately White audience. “How are you?” he asked Sheff G. Trump shook his hand and pointed to the rapper’s teeth, “I like that. I wanna get the done.”
“President Trump, my man,” the rapper responded. Donald then fixed the mic for him.
The entertainer said, “One thing I wanna say. They always gonna whisper your accomplishments and shout your failures. Trump gone shout the wins for all of us.”
The audience loudly applauded. Sleepy Hallow then walked up to the mic and recited Trump’s controversial campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
The crowd erupted into applause again, and the rappers chuckled. Donald thanked the men for coming, and the pair exited the stage as quickly as they appeared. Trump again repeated his desire for an iced-out grill, stating, “I gotta get my teeth like that.”
Commenters under The Shade Room’s post shared their thoughts and feelings about the rapper’s MAGA rally appearance.
