A Dominos pizza receipt led to the arrest of a 12-year-old boy in the murder of an adult Milwaukee man, reportedly to steal guns.
According to Fox 6 Now. a person placed an order for a pizza on March 15, with the phone number having been placed on the receipt.

That pizza was delivered to a home near 38th and Townsend and several days later, police found the receipt along with the body of 34-year-old Brandon Felton, the outlet reports.
A boy picked up the phone when police called the number of the pizza receipt, court records show.
That same 12-year-old boy appeared before a juvenile court judge on Monday and is now charged with first-degree intentional homicide and being party to a crime.
His bond was set at $100,000, per Fox 6 Now. The boy was not publicly named due to his age.

Boy Killed Adult Man Because He Wouldn’t Sell Guns To The Child, Per Criminal Complaint
The alleged motive for the murder was the fact that Felton would not sell the 12-year-old boy guns, according to the criminal complaint.
Investigators eventually extracted text messages from the child’s phone from the day Felton died, and found the following exchange, Fox 6 Now reports:
Defendant: “Or should I kill him…(right now).”
Friend: “Don’t let him know we coming”
Defendant: “He on the couch laying down…”
Defendant: “Cuz I can belt him (right now)”

The boy at first attempted to deny ordering the pizza and maintained he had nothing to do with Felton’s murder.
However, his mother eventually learned the child had lied and brought the child back to the police station.

Authorities Say They’re Still Seeking Additional Suspects, Investigation Ongoing
Investigators located the boy’s phone at Felton’s home before being tracked back to the child’s after he was picked up by his friends, the outlet reports.
The boy had reportedly told his friend he planned on robbing Felton of his guns, which included an AR-15-style rifle, almost a week before Felton’s murder, court records show
Meanwhile, authorities say they are actually looking for additional suspects, but did not reveal who they are or their potential role in Felton’s death.
An investigation into the crime remains ongoing.
