As we continue to mourn the loss of the icon DMX, his friends, family, and fans have kept his legacy alive in several ways. One make-up artist recreated a look where she put DMX’s face on her cheek. Several fans have created artwork, and there have been so many Instagram posts for Dark Man X that you can hardly keep up. Anything you can imagine they are doing. One of the closest people to DMX, his fiancée Desiree Lindstrom and the mother of his 15th child showed her love on her flesh in the form of a tattoo.
Desiree decided to honor DMX’s legacy and the love she has for him with two tattoos. She received “Dogg Love” on her wrist along with his signature “X” largely underneath. The tattoo artist Krystal Kills, who was featured as a crew member on the popular TV series ‘Black Ink Crew: New York’, had the honor of creating the tattoo. She shared the photo on her Instagram with the caption, “I feel honored to be able to do this memorial but also saddened. Your light was unmatchable. @desi123love I pray you find your way through these dark times and remember the love you had for each other will forever be untethered. I’m glad I got to witness it.”
According to TMZ, a source advised that Desiree decided to get “Dog Love” for 2 significant reasons. The first is because it’s a phrase that DMX used to say. Secondly, their source said that Desiree considers a dog’s love unconditional, much like DMX’s. TMZ reports that Desiree received that tattoo on Friday night after news that he passed. Roommates, let’s continue to keep DMX’s loved ones in our prayers!
