Roommates, as DJ Khaled was gearing up to the release of his latest album, many hip hop fans couldn’t contain their excitement at the reports that former rivals, Nas and Jay-Z, would be featured on a track together on the project. Well, to celebrate the official release of ‘Khaled Khaled’, DJ Khaled dropped the lush new video for ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ featuring both Nas and Jay-Z.
The video for ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is filled with style, opulence and living your best life, as Nas and Jay-Z are dressed in tuxedoes while they indulge in cigars and sip on cocktails in a casino with stacks of cash in a friendly gambling session.
On his expert verse, Nas spits his usual form of excellence, rapping “Hear ye, hear ye, only kings stand near me/ Silicon Valley money mixed with Henny, that’s a Fendi/ Half a century almost, sliced the green like a lawnmower/ ‘Til we all on, never fall off, hear a boss talk/ You don’t hear me? That’s your loss/ Winner in life, f**k a coin toss/ I’m coin-based, basically cryptocurrency Scarface.”
Jay-Z is up next with a few lines about his wife Beyonce. “Sorry, that’s another B/ Haters still ain’t recover from the other B/ Mm, that’s a double B/ Nah that’s a triple B, can’t forget ’bout the other Bey (hey)/ It’s the white gloves for me/ Hater know not to touch me, I’m with the f**kery (F**k with me.)”
