Welp #Roommates, things are officially heating up in the ongoing feud between “The Breakfast Club” hosts DJ Envy and Angela Yee versus rapper Gucci Mane. During his recent sit-down interview with fellow “Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne Tha God, Gucci hurled several insults Envy’s way—and now he’s responded.
For years Gucci Mane has been letting everyone know that he’s banned from appearing on the popular syndicated radio morning show program “The Breakfast Club” because two of the co-hosts, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, allegedly don’t want him there due to his claims that Angela tried to get with him back in the day. However, Envy and Angela have denied such ban.
He recently aired out the whole situation in an interview with Charlamagne, where he stated that if/when he sees Envy, he will definitely confront him. He even took things a step further by saying that he would “slap the s**t outta him.”
That threat didn’t sit well with Envy and he responded to Gucci in a lengthy Instagram post that read:
Me and My Dog..????????????… Welllllll… @cthagod gave me a heads up when this interview was done and I told him play it.. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve been threatened by an artist and probably won’t be the last time… I never been slapped, or snuffed or jumped before so not sure where that came from… but funny by all means… @laflare1017 was never banned from the @breakfastclubam When asked, “Would I do an interview without Yee…” My reply was, “I will not do anything unless you clear it with my co-worker.. We call that riding for your team where I’m from!!! And he’s upset because my coworker defended herself… Never in a million years will I tell my co-hosts what to say or what not to say.. We share that platform.. When Gucci did that post about Yee, she defended herself on the Breakfast Club and he’s mad because “I let her do it”…. I Have never ran from a Conversation in my life… My Kids are good, my wife is great and My Dog is excellent… Anyway, I heard some lies and wanted to address it… Back to enjoying Paris
As of right now, Gucci hasn’t responded to Envy’s statement publicly, but we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before he does.
