Diddy will be premiering a new documentary at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. The film is entitled, “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story.”
The documentary will give viewers a behind the scenes look of the record labels legacy, and also a closer look at the two night event, that honored the life of the Notorious B.I.G., which went down last year in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center.
According to Billboard, Diddy said in a statement, “I am blessed to be introducing our film at the Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca brings the biggest names in entertainment and culture together with visionaries from across industries to celebrate the power of storytelling.”
He ended, “There is no better place to share the story behind the Bad Boy movement and this unprecedented musical event.”
The Daniel Kaufman directed film will also show how Diddy was able to gather the Bad Boy family for the two sold out shows in Brooklyn, along with the three week rehearsal period.
The film will also cover the record label’s humble beginnings; it’s influence on the hip-hop culture, and of course the death of the label’s most prominent artist, Biggie Smalls.
