Roommates, despite previously announcing that he was officially cancelling his highly-anticipated New Year’s Eve party, Diddy still found a way to turn up. Posting footage to social media, Diddy showed off his legendary dance skills at his New Year’s Eve bash to celebrate his son Justin’s birthday—with a lot less people than normal, as he aimed to scale things back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Diddy may have cancelled his annual New Year’s Eve party, but that didn’t stop him from celebrating his son Justin Combs officially turning 27. Held in Miami, Diddy threw Justin a luxury-filled, extravagant birthday bash as only he can.
Diddy led the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to Justin during the celebration that started at Swan restaurant, and eventually moved to Victory Restaurant & Lounge. Both venues had guests who were popping bottles, while Justin received various gifts, including a custom Dior birthday cake. However, that definitely was the only gift, as Diddy also bought Justin a custom Rolex that he designed.
As we previously reported, in a post on Instagram, he wrote the following about cancelling his New Year’s Eve party:
“TO ALL MY FRIENDS: In efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy… Unfortunately we are not having a NYE party this year! I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and wish you all the best for the new year.”
To make sure it was understood that the party is definitely not happening, Diddy captioned his post, “ATTENTION: THIS IS TO EVERYONE, ALL OF MY FRIENDS & FAMILY…I’M NOT CHANGING MY MIND…SEE YOU ALL IN 2021! LOVE YOU!”
