Diddy has some new work up his sleeve! According to the Hollywood Reporter, he’s teaming up with ABC to produce a new comedy inspired by his former assistant, Sarah Snedeker.
The show titled “The Hustle,” is Diddy’s first Scripted TV venture, which he happens to be taking at a perfect time. Apparently, broadcast networks are on the search for new spins on family comedies that have distinctive voices and dynamics that the small screen hasn’t already explored.
So who’s this Sarah Snedeker that has become worthy of show inspiration? She used to be Diddy’s right-hand. She is now an exec at Revolt Films, also owned by him.
The show is set to center around a small-town girl who gets a job as an assistant for a street smart billionaire business mogul. During her time working for the boss man, she is “instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.”
Jeremy Garelick and Stacey Harman are set to be the masterminds behind the penned script. Both of them will executive produce. Snedeker is further set to be a producer and consultant.
This doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea for Diddy.
