Is Diddy Coming Back To IG?
On Friday, July 6, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs uploaded a video on his Instagram Story that shows himself boarding a private jet with a mat reading, “Combs Air.”
In the brief clip, the Bad Boy Records founder turns to a pilot on the tarmac and says, “What up? How you doing?” He then gives the pilot a fist bump, runs up the stairs into the aircraft, and eventually mumbles, “No place like home.”
Diddy’s latest Instagram Story marks his first appearance on the platform since he decided to go ghost and delete all his content.
As The Shade Room previously reported, the media mogul recently wiped his account clean of everything, including his apology video. Diddy’s message came after CNN released surveillance footage of him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016.
More Details On Combs Allegations
Diddy’s return to Instagram coincides with ongoing scandals, including March raids on his homes in a federal sex trafficking investigation.
TMZ reports that the Combs is under federal investigation for alleged sex and narcotics trafficking, along with firearms-related offenses. The outlet also disclosed that prosecutors have convened a federal grand jury to seek an indictment against him.
The publication further explained that the grand jury will review testimony from witnesses and other evidence before deciding whether to indict the musician. However, at the moment it remains unclear if any charges will be filed against him.
Miami Beach Revokes ‘Sean Combs Diddy Day’
Additionally, the Miami Herald recently reported that the Miami Beach Commission has revoked the proclamation declaring October 13th as ‘Sean Diddy Combs Day.’ According to the outlet, the commission quietly rescinded the recognition on June 26 without any discussion.
Billboard revealed that Mayor Philip Levine first honored Diddy with the recognition at a REVOLT conference in 2016.
Miami Beach officials announced that, given the accusations against Diddy, they believe the honorary day no longer aligns with the city’s values.
“Upon reflection, the Mayor and City Commission have determined that recognizing October 13, 2016, as ’Sean Diddy Combs Day’ is no longer in harmony with the City’s values of safety, community well-being, and respect, and wish to rescind the proclamation.”
