Diddy‘s mother, Janice Combs, has reportedly been hospitalized in Florida.
According to TMZ, Janice was “rushed to the hospital” on Wednesday, July 10. The 83-year-old reportedly complained about experiencing pain and “discomfort” in her chest, “sources close to Diddy” allegedly told the outlet.
At this time, it reportedly remains unclear what caused Janice’s chest pains. However, the outlet reports that the 83-year-old is “going to remain in the hospital for at least another day.” Furthermore, doctors are allegedly keeping her hospitalized “for further testing and observation.”
TMZ reports that sources seemingly alleged that Janice believes the chest pain is “related to stress over her son’s legal woes.”
Nonetheless, the outlet adds that Diddy is present at his mom’s side as she remains under medical care.
“He’s her comfort in this,” the unnamed source reportedly explained.
Social media users shared well wishes for Janice Combs in The Shade Room’s comment section.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy has been at the center of sexual assault, harassment, trafficking, and rape allegations since November 2023. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against the 54-year-old music mogul, who has maintained his innocence in the various cases.
Earlier this week, Diddy was publicly blasted by two lawyers behind separate suits filed against the mogul. Douglas Wigdor, the attorney representing Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie, spoke out after the mogul was spotted rafting and jet-setting amid the allegations.
“I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead,” Wigdor reportedly stated.
Additionally, attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, who is representing Adria English, another alleged sex trafficking victim of Diddy’s, commented on the mogul’s recent outdoor activities.
“After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails,” Mitchell-Kidd said.
In addition to the lawsuits against the mogul, NBC News has reported that Diddy is the subject of a federal investigation. The outlet adds, however, that “there is no indication” that charges against the music mogul are “imminent.”
