One of Diddy‘s former bodyguards is speaking out as more details are being reported about his and Cassie‘s settlement.
Roger Bonds appeared as a guest on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored,’ published via YouTube on Monday, May 20. During his twenty-minute appearance, Bonds spoke about allegedly witnessing Diddy “be violent toward women” on multiple occasions.
Additionally, Bonds alleged he witnessed Diddy’s violence with Cassie and his ex, the late Kim Porter.
Bonds explained that he’s allegedly seen Diddy “get physical” with both women and “grab them up.”
“It was one time that Cassie mentioned inside her lawsuit, where she said she had to go over to the London hotel,” he explained. “I was the one who was checking on her everyday at the London hotel. So, I know that to be true.”
Diddy’s former ex-bodyguard explained that he could not understand the mogul’s level of anger and rage. In addition, Bonds shared that he saw Diddy “smack” Kim Porter. However, Porter eventually decided to fight back against the mogul.
“Because she realized how powerful she was,” he said.

To note, The Shade Room has confirmed that Cassie did mention Bonds while noting an incident in her 35-page abuse, trafficking, and assault lawsuit against Diddy filed in November.
On page 14 of the suit, Cassie alleges that in January 2009, Diddy “learned” that she spoke to another music manager while at a party in Los Angeles, California. Diddy allegedly became “extremely angry” and pulled her out of the event.
Then, in a car leaving the event, Diddy allegedly beat Cassie, pushed her into a corner of the car, and stomped on her face. Bonds allegedly “tried to stop the beating but was unable to de-escalate the situation.”
According to Cassie, the beating allegedly continued at Diddy’s residence. Once the mogul allegedly realized “the damage” he’d done and “physical evidence of his abuse,” he reportedly sent Cassie to a suit at The London Hotel “where she was required to stay for a week.”
Social media users shared mixed reactions to Bonds’ statements in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @indeskribeabull wrote, “He only started talking about this recently. DECADES went by…”
Instagram user @kristennoelcrawley wrote, “Some of yall be more upset with the “people that didn’t speak up” than the actual abusers 🤔 #makeitmakesense”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Cassie settled her 35-page lawsuit against Diddy shortly after filing in November. According to TMZ, “sources familiar with the agreement” allege the settlement allegedly included “a very strict NDA.”
This alleged NDA reportedly bars Cassie and Diddy from saying each other’s names or speaking about one another in public.
As The Shade Room previously reported, on Friday, May 17, surveillance footage surfaced of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.
In response, Diddy issued a video apology. However, he prompted additional backlash for not explicitly mentioning Cassie, per TMZ.
According to the outlet, Diddy’s lawyers “very closely reviewed his video apology before it was posted” to confirm that it complied with the settlement’s NDA.
