#Roommates, open enrollment for Obamacare has officially begun for 2018. This means if you currently don’t have health insurance through your employer, partner or family, you have between November 1 and December 15 to sign up for coverage.
There’s a lot of confusion and misinformation out there about the Affordable Care Act. Many believe it’s been repealed, however Obamacare has survived repeated attempts by Trump and Congress to repeal it. Yes, it remains the law of the land.
According to the New York Times, the current administration has made sharp cuts to the advertising budget for this year’s open enrollment period. As a result, there’s been limited public awareness that now is the time to enroll.
