Desiigner has been in the cut lately, with no drama. But on Thursday, the artist took to Instagram Story, admitting shame for recently exposing himself on a plane.
Additionally, the Panda rapper revealed plans to check himself into a facility after struggling with his mental health “for the past few months.”
“For the past few months I have not been ok, and I have been struggling to come to terms with what is going on,” Desiigner said. “While overseas for a concert I performed at, I had to be admitted to a hospital, I was not thinking clearly. They gave me meds and I had to hop on a plane ride home.”

There are no additional details about which airlines the incident occurred with, nor have any photos or videos surfaced. The extent of Desiigner’s alleged exposure remains unclear–meaning we can’t confirm which body part he flashed or the details of what happened.
Desiigner Admits Feeling ‘Ashamed’ Of His Actions On The Plane
However, whatever happened was enough for a flight attendant to scold the rapper, according to TMZ. When the plane finally landed in Minneapolis on Monday, local police allegedly questioned the rapper but later released him.
In his statement, the rapper added:
“I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I landed back to the States and am admitting myself in a facility to help me. I will be canceling all of my shows and any obligations until further notice. Mental health is real, guys, please pray for me. If you’re not feeling like yourself, please get help.”
The artist’s return to the U.S. comes after performances in Thailand and Tokyo. He was booked to perform on April 14 at Rolling Loud Thailand.

This isn’t the first time Desiigner has had an incident on an international flight. In 2018, the rapper was reportedly traveling from Sweden to Germany when a confrontation with the Scandinavian Airlines crew occurred. He later admitted on social media that he did get unruly with the crew, but only after they allegedly put their hands on him first.
“They kicked me off my flight because this b**** put her hands on me,” Desiigner said at the time. “They always try to make the black man play the white card and it’s like I’m tired of trying to be victim of that sh**.”
This time around, it seems like Desiigner is taking full accountability for the unspecified incident. It’s unclear when and where Desiigner will receive mentioned mental health services.
On Thursday and early Friday, people on social media began sending well-wishes and messages of support.
I’m glad he had the sense, knowledge and courage to tackle this situation. Desiigner has my prayers & support. 🙏🏽❤️
