There were many people that were affected by the passing of Nipsey Hussle earlier this year. Including Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who was childhood friends with Nipsey.
On Sunday, DeSean took to social media to show off the Nipsey Hussle cleats that he wore during the pregame. He let his followers know that every game this season he’ll be auctioning off the Nipsey cleats he’ll be wearing in pregame. The proceeds from the auction will be going to Nipsey’s children Kross and Emani.
According to NBC Sports, the pair of cleats that DeSean showed off for the gram were the ones he wore before facing off against his former team the Washington Red Skins.
However, those aren’t the only pair, hence the auction to take place after every game. Back in April shared a photo of other pairs of Nipsey Hussle cleats that he has and he said, “Lock us behind gates but can’t tame us “ Used to be stay safe, now it’s stay dangerous NipDaGr8 ???????? Ima rep every game 4 you Loc ???? TMC ????”
As many of you know, Nipsey was unfortunately gunned down in front of his clothing store back in March. His passing sent a shock wave through the industry. However, the lessons that taught to others while still here have continued to live on and keep his legacy alive.
