Inmates at a Delaware prison decided that today they had enough because they took four corrections department workers hostage.
According to ABC 7, it all went down at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center. Inmates told a local newspaper that their actions were a result of their treatment within the facility and their concerns about the overall leadership of the United States.
The inmates let one hostage go around 2: 25 p.m., and was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A second correction officer was released around 8 p.m and had to be taken out on a stretcher. Two hostages are currently still being held and its unclear if they’re armed.
