DC Young Fly is taking a moment to acknowledge his rough year, as he lost three people in the span of about 14 months. However, he says he’s giving the situation to God and seeking strength as he “stick[s] through the mission.”

The Comedian Speaks On Recently Losing His Cousin, Wife, & Sister
The Wild ‘N Out star shared his upload on Monday (Oct. 16) via Instagram, and the picture featured him buttoning up his shirt with a stoic expression on his face.
Within his caption, DC Young Fly announced, “In a matter of a year I lost 3 people.” Elaborating, he explained that his cousin passed away in August 2022. Fans will know that he lost his wife, Jacky Oh, this past May, though his grief didn’t end there.
In fact, he shared that he lost his sister only “a couple days ago.”
With these tragedies unfolding in swift succession, DC Young Fly acknowledged that he’s turning to God in his time of personal hardship.
“Jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u and he will grant you the strength…. Remember he parted the Red Sea not make it disappear .. the problems are still there he jus allowed u to get through it.”
He added, “[M]ake sure Yu stay righteous don’t hold no grudge because GOD is love and love will always overcome adversity.”

DC Young Fly Has Been Grieving Jacky Oh Since Late May
As The Shade Room reported, Jacky Oh passed away earlier this year shortly after undergoing a “mommy makeover” surgery in Miami, Florida.
About a week after Jacky Oh passed away, DC Young Fly paid tribute by referring to her as “the greatest mother.” He also opened up about how he wanted the situation “to be a dream so bad.”
His heartfelt post ended with him declaring, “LOVE YOU FOREVER jus know we goinn harder than ever and GOD is in control and that he got us covered.”
