Just over three months after a California jury convicted him on two counts of rape, Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.

The Actor Was Called “Pathetic” & “Disturbed” During His Sentencing
The sentence arrived on Thursday (Sept. 7), and AP News reports the women addressed the court before Judge Charlaine F. Olmedo handed down the decision.
After describing rape as “a theft of the spirit,” one of the women called Masterson “pathetic, disturbed and completely violent.” She added, “The world is better off with you in prison.”
The other woman he was convicted of raping blasted Masterson for “not show[ing] an ounce of remorse for the pain he caused.”
Before Danny Masterson’s sentencing, the judge reportedly denied the defense’s argument for a new trial. The 47-year-old also declined to address the court, and he isn’t noted as having any visible reaction to the news.
Masterson received the heftiest sentence allowed, and he won’t be eligible for parole until he serves a 25-and-a-half-year sentence. However, as he was sentenced to 30 years to life, the actor could potentially remain behind bars for the remainder of his time on Earth.
Danny Masterson Was Convicted Of Raping Two Out Of Three Accusers Earlier This Year
As The Shade Room reported, Danny Masterson was convicted on two counts of rape earlier this year during his retrial. The ordeals allegedly occurred at his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003.
In addition to these two individuals, we should add that Masterson was also accused of raping an ex-girlfriend, though the jury was unable to reach a verdict on that count.
All three women are former members of the Church of Scientology, where Danny Masterson remains a prominent member.
Neither Danny Masterson nor his wife, Bijou Phillips — who share a 9-year-old daughter — has publicly commented on the development.
