If you’ve been watching this season of the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” then you already know Shereé Whitfield is head of heels for her prison bae Tyrone Gilliams. On Sunday’s episode Sherre spoke with her man about building a “man cave” in her home, but it looks like those plans are going to have to put on pause because Tyrone was denied early release.
Shereé has said during the show that she’s hopeful her man would be home soon but it’ll be another 4 years of collect calls before that’s a reality.
According to AJC, Tyrone was sentenced to 10 years in the slammer for a Ponzi scheme that cost investors about $5 million. He was trying to get his sentence reduced, arguing that he wasn’t the “leader”, according to documrnents from Radar Online. He claimed that the government “improperly withheld” evidence, and his counsel had been “ineffective.”
Unfortunately, a New York federal court judge didn’t see it that way and shot down his plea, saying he had no new evidence.
He is scheduled to be released November 14, 2022.
