Dame Dash Speaks On Diddy Drama

In a recent interview, Dame Dash shared his thoughts and disappointment after watching the surveillance footage of Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura.

“I know Puff, so it was very disappointing to see that from someone that, again, I considered my peer. Someone that you know, because we’re the brotherhood of hip hop showed a certain degree of respect. But you know, you can’t unsee that and it’s really a shame. And what I think when I see that, number one I got daughters,” Dame stated.

Dame further explained that he could never handle or watch another man attack his daughters. Furthermore, he mentioned that he had questions for Diddy after he released his apology video.

“When I saw the apology what I wondered is that he has daughters. If I were to ask him a question it would be, what would you do if you saw a dude do that to your daughters? What should that person’s punishment be? Because that’s what yours should be,” Dame said.

The Latest News And Details On Diddy

According to CNN, a grand jury could soon hear testimony from some of his alleged sexual misconduct victims as the U.S. Justice Department might possibly be seeking an indictment against the producer.

On May 17, the global news network published a gut-wrenching video from 2016 of Diddy violently attacking Cassie. The horrific incident occurred on March 5, 2016, at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

Per The Shade Room, Diddy issued an apology just days after the assault footage surfaced. The Bad Boys Records founder responded through an Instagram video.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you gotta do that. I was f****d up. I mean I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, i’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help. I had to go into therapy, go to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry,” Diddy says in the video.

As of last week, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office does not plan to pursue charges against Diddy for Cassie’s recorded assault. Unfortunately, too much time has passed, and the crime has surpassed its statute of limitations.
