Cup Noodles Introduces Pumpkin Spice Flavor Coming This Fall

If you’re into the Pumpkin Spice flavor, it was announced on Monday that Cup Noodles is bringing it to the shelves

According to FOX 11, the noodles will be available in October, “Nissin Foods announced on Monday its newest flavor cup: pumpkin spice. Cup Noodles’ new pumpkin spice-flavored instant noodles will hit Walmart shelves worldwide in late October.”

Unlike the traditional beef and chicken flavors, this fall-inspired flavor will be full of sauce instead of soup-based. FOX 11 LA also reports that the pumpkin seasoning will be blended with sweet and spicy ingredients.

The release of the pumpkin flavor is to commemorate Cups Noodles’ 50th anniversary. Jaclyn Park, Vice President, Marketing, Nissin Foods USA stated,  “After 50 years of noodle innovation, what better time to release our most unexpected flavor to date with pumpkin spice, and trust me it really is that good,”

The company even recommends adding whipped cream to get “the full pumpkin spice experience.”

As for who’s excited for this new pumpkin spice flavor, 89%  of people who represent Millennials and Boomers are not here for this new flavor, according to FOX 11 LA. “Don’t mess with my noodles,” is what they reportedly stated.

It’s also reported that 65% of non-Gen Z stated they “actually hate pumpkin spice,” while  64% stated it could “cease” from being made.

Speaking of food, there’s a new type of meat on the rise. A Barcelona-based company, Novameat, has created a plant-based meat substitute for steak and pork. According to Now This News, the company created meat substitutes through 3D printing in 2018. Novameat has developed synthetic, 3D-printed meat that’s 100% plant-based and mimics real beef and chicken texture.
