Last night at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Atlanta Hawks game, thangs got a tad bit spicy between LeBron James and a group of hecklers, dubbing one as ‘Courtside Karen.’ The innanet has been going ham and dragged the woman who was ejected from the game, so today, she decided to issue an apology.
Juliana Carlos, aka ‘Courtside Karen,’ shared a lengthy post on her Instagram page. She wrote, “About last night… To say things escalated quickly at yesterday’s game is an understatement, and I want to apologize for losing my cool and removing my mask in the heat of the moment. My husband is a huge sports fan, and we’re passionate people, let’s be real: sports wouldn’t be sports without a little trash talking.“
Juliana continued, “What should have been a quick back-and-forth between two adults got out of hand, and my natural instinct to stand up from the man I love kicked in. Did I get defensive when that happened? Yes. Did I use offensive language when I could have taken the higher road? Yes. And for these things, I take full responsibility.”
The Roommates sounded off in the comments and gave their two cents in normal fashion. One commented, “She stood up for her man, lmao. I’m not mad at either party. Sometimes people exchange words, next topic.”
Many people were quick to point out that Juliana was lucky that Savannah James, LeBron’s wife, wasn’t in attendance last night. If it’s one thing, Savannah is known for it is standing by her man and defending her family. One tweeted, “Savannah James would’ve cleared Courtside Karen with ease.” So far, Savannah hasn’t spoken out about the incident.
