Sources tell ABC7 that R&B singer Chris Brown is in plea talks with D.C. prosecutors for his pending misdemeanor assault charges.
Court documents indicate Brown, 25, is due in D.C. court on Wednesday at 3 p.m. for a status hearing. If both sides agree to the terms, Brown could accept a plea deal during the hearing, sources told the Post.
Brown was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault in October when victim Parker Adams pressed charges after Brown allegedly assaulted him on Oct. 27 outside the W Hotel in D.C.
Brown allegedly stopped to take a photo with two female fans – one of which was Adams’ girlfriend – outside the hotel. Adams reportedly tried to get into the photo, allegedly prompting both Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, to punch him, causing his nose to bleed, and staining his shirt.
