The St. Louis County police department is under fire again after an officer thought it would be cool to brag about the bonus he received off of Mike Brown.
According to The Guardian, Officer Todd J Bakula decided to share his wonderful time on vacation with social media but the caption is what has people disgusted:
Bakula is allegedly referring to the overtime he racked up for overseeing Mike Brown’s one year anniversary demonstrations.
It has been confirmed that Bakula does work for the St. Louis County Police Department and they are investigating the nature of the post.
In the boastful FaceBooker’s defense according to the St. Louis Business Journal, the Mike Brown protests cost the county $4 million of which $2.5 million went into overtime pay for the officers responding to the unrest.
Either way it was a poor choice of words. Let’s chat below what do you think about the post?
