Whew! Roomies, somethin’ must be in the air this week because everybody seems to be talking about physical appearances. Coi Leray is the latest celebrity to come through with a statement about looks.
Amid the discussions about BBL surgeries, Ozempic, and natural bodies, Coi Leray took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her thoughts on being slim and ask her followers a question.
“Everybody skinny now. I thought skinny wasn’t it? I got bullied for being skinny for 5 years … lol what changed yall minds?”
The ‘Players’ rapper even took a moment to clap back at a commenter who seemed annoyed by her remarks. The social media user responded to Coi writing, “Girl shut up.” Coi quickly replied, “You shut up b****h wassup.”
Commenters under The Shade Room’s Instagram report quickly reacted to Coi’s statement. Many social media users seemed to share mixed feelings and thoughts.

However, social media users on X (a.k.a Twitter) immediately responded to Coi Leray, crediting Ozempic as the reason why so many people are skinny right now. Others stated that skinny never went out of style!
