Clarke Peters Gets Emotional As He Speaks About Chadwick Boseman & Expresses His Regret Of Initially Judging Him While On Set Of “Da 5 Bloods”

PressPlay: Clarke Peters recently appeared on “Good Morning Britan,” where he talked about his “Da 5 Bloods” co-star Chadwick Boseman. During the interview, he spoke about how great of a person and actor Chadwick was. He also expressed a moment of regret as he first had a moment of judgment while they were filming.

He said, “We were shooting in Thailand actually and when I look back at that time, I have to say with a little bit of regret that I probably wasn’t the most altruistic in that environment, but hindsight teaches us a lot of things. And what I’m addressing is basically, my wife asked what Chadwick was like and I was really excited to work with him. I said, ‘I think he’s a little bit precious,’ and she said ‘Why?’”

He continued to express that while on set he had people who were there fawning over him, and he thought the success of #BlackPanther might have gone to his head. An emotional Clarke continued, “But now I regret even having those thoughts because they were really looking after him.”

He continued to talk about how Chadwick worked through the conditions they were faced with as they were filming the Netflix film “Da 5 Bloods.”

“We were in 104-degree weather running with equipment up to 40lbs on our backs.”

As we previously reported, last week Friday it was revealed that Chadwick passed at the age of 43 after fighting a secret battle against colon cancer.
