Ciara made it back to the Breakfast Club on Monday with Angela Yee and DJ Envy to discuss life after her last interview with them.
Angela congratulated her on the success of her new single ‘I Bet’ which made a perfect segue into dishing about her break-up with her baby’s father, rapper Future.
When DJ Envy asked what happened between then, she declined to spill anybody’s tea, but instead gushed about how much she loves her son and about how he’s the greatest gift God has given her ever! Future and Ciara seem to be co-parenting just fine, telling listeners that they’re “cool”.
“My son has given me so much clarity. Now I feel like I’m full-on woman!” says Ciara. “You don’t really understand what that really means until a few things happen to you in life”.
Ciara also dishes on her now 8 year friendship with LaLa Anthony and Angela asked about some tired shade that Tamar allegedly threw at Ciara about her Black Girls Rock performance. Ciara says there was no shade taken because she says it’s always been nothing but love when they see each other.
The only thing missing from the interview was that Charlamagne! He wasn’t there to back up his smack talk about Ciara! He can be such a bully, and he even left some questions for DJ Envy to ask in his absence but CiCi was like hell nah! “I wanna see him in person! …I got a couple things I might wanna say to him”. Ooo Charlamagne, I hope you’re getting ready for that read!!
