Christian Combs‘ lawyer has released a statement responding to the sexual assault and harassment lawsuit recently filed against the 26-year-old.
According to Fox News, the lawsuit was filed against Combs on Thursday, April 4, in Los Angeles, California, by a woman named Grace O’Marcaigh. In the lawsuit, O’Marcaigh alleges that Combs sexually assaulted her in 2022.
The incident allegedly took place “on a yacht chartered by Diddy.”
O’Marcaigh asserts that she was working “serving dinner and drinks to guests.” The woman was allegedly under the impression the event would be a “wholesome family excursion.” However, O’Marcaigh alleges the event “turned into a hardcore party scene” with drug use and a “constant rotation of suspected sex workers.”
The woman is reportedly accusing Diddy of aiding and abetting his son. Additionally, it is alleged that the drinks at the party had been drugged, leading some women to pass out.
O’Marcaigh alleges that when Combs arrived on the yacht, he made strong advances toward her. Additionally, Combs allegedly pressured her to take tequila shots, which were allegedly spiked.
Fox News reports that audio recordings of O’Marcaigh resisting Combs’ alleged advances are noted in the lawsuit.
After this, O’Marcaigh alleged Combs groped her and forced her to perform oral sex on him. Additionally, Combs is accused of leaving bruises on the woman.
O’Marcaigh alleges that she informed the boat’s captain of the incident the following day. However, months later, she was fired from her job.
The woman is now reportedly suing Combs and his father for unspecified damages.
Aaron Dyer, a lawyer for Christian Combs and Diddy has denied the allegations in the recent lawsuit. Additionally, Dyer has blasted the lawyer behind the filing of the suit, Tyrone Blackburn. To note, Blackburn also filed Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ sexual assault and harassment lawsuit against Diddy, per The Shade Room.
Blackburn is now reportedly being accused of “improperly filing cases in federal court ‘to garner media attention,'” per TMZ.
“This is just another lewd and meritless claim from Tyrone Blackburn — just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served. This complaint is filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we’ve come to expect from Blackburn,” Dyer stated. “This is exactly why the federal judge in New York slapped him two days ago for a ‘pattern of behavior’ in ‘improperly [filing] cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly,’ and why he was referred to the disciplinary committee in the Southern District of New York. We will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.”
Blackburn has reportedly represented celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, T.I., Tiny, and Tiffany Haddish. Recently filed court documents indicate that the lawyer’s alleged actions appear to be “part of a pattern.”
To note, reports of the lawsuit against Combs initially surfaced around Tuesday, April 2. At the time, outlets such as TheJasmineBrand cited the lawsuit based on information that appeared to be exclusively shared by Blackburn.
Despite the swirling allegations, Combs maintained his silence on the matter. On April 2, Misa Hylton, the mother of his brother, Justin Combs, spoke out on his and Justin’s behalf.
At the time, Hylton alleged that the federal raid conducted on Diddy’s Los Angeles home on March 25 utilized excessive force. To note, Christian and Justin were both at the residence at the time of the raid.
Additionally, Hylton blasted federal agents for pointing a laser beam at her son and pointing a gun at the back of Christian’s head, per The Shade Room.
Christian celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday, April 4. On Thursday, April 4, he took to social media to share a brief message with photos of his birthday celebration.
