Later that day, Rock’s booking record was updated to show that her felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. Additionally, she was still being held on “NO BAIL.” And Rock’s record now showed that she was placed on hold by Oklahoma authorities.
As of Monday, June 17, Rock’s booking recording now indicates that she also appeared in court on Friday, June 14. On that date, she was reportedly sentenced to 30 days in jail. Additionally, she is being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.
To note, Rock’s record still reflects she is on hold by Oklahoma authorities.
The Shade Room contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on June 17 for more information on Rock’s booking record. An agent explained that the rapper’s misdemeanor charge is for “assault with a deadly weapon without a firearm.” Additionally, they disclosed that the charge is solely in connection to a case filed against the rapper in California.
The agent did not note which case the charge was made in connection to. However, we should note that in February, James Wright Chanel filed assault charges against the rapper in the state, per The Shade Room.
Additionally, the agent confirmed that Rock has been sentenced to 30 days at the CRDF. Once her sentence there concludes, they explained she will be extradited to Oklahoma for jurisdiction in relation to her initial case and charges there.
Why Was Chrisean Rock Arrested On A Felony Fugitive Warrant?
As The Shade Room previously reported, Rock’s arrest at the Van Nuys West Courthouse on June 10 was prompted by an open “felony fugitive warrant” stemming from a case in Oklahoma.
TMZ initially reported that Rock was wanted on charges of “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.” The charges reportedly stemmed from her arrest in the state on February 18, 2022. According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Rock was also cited for declining a traffic ticket on that date.
Rock’s Oklahoma case record indicates that Rock pleaded not guilty to the charges on October 7, 2022. On March 15, 2023, Rock re-appeared in court and her sentencing for each charge was deferred for “four years until the 15th day of March, 2027.” Additionally, Rock was ordered to satisfy her court fees with a payment plan and serve 120 hours of community service at a homeless shelter “within six months.”
At the time, Rock was subsequently placed on supervised probation and ordered not to violate any “city, state, or federal” laws of the state.
However, on August 13, 2023, Rock was “charged with a new violent offense” against a woman in Fort Washington, Maryland. Then, in November 2023, authorities were informed that Rock allegedly assaulted James Wright Chanel at a Tamar Braxton concert. Both incidents were noted on a supplemental report in Rock’s Oklahoma case file on November 21, 2023. Additionally, it was noted that Chrisean “absconded supervision” from her parole officer.
Ultimately, a warrant was issued for Rock’s arrest. However, her whereabouts were reportedly unclear until authorities were able to locate her and take her into custody on June 10.
TSR Update
On Monday afternoon, TMZ reported that Chrisean Rock will serve 12 months probation in addition to her 30-day jail sentence in California. She has reportedly received a five-day credit for time served.
The outlet has also confirmed that Rock’s California misdemeanor charge stems from her 2023 altercation with James Wright Chanel. She has reportedly been ordered not to come within 100 feet of the Chanel. And she is “not allowed to own, use or possess any dangerous or deadly weapons during the probation period.”
Where Is Blueface & Chrisean Jr.?
