Chrisean Rock has returned to social media to respond to the lawsuit filed by James Wright Chanel, who’s accusing her of allegedly assaulting him last year.
As you may recall, Rock was invited to Tamar Braxton‘s Love & War 10th Anniversary concert in Los Angeles in November.

But things quickly turned left backstage when Rock allegedly got physical with Wright, as revealed in his court documents obtained by TMZ.
He accused the Zeus Network star of using homophobic slurs and punching him so forcefully it knocked two of his teeth out.
Braxton had personally invited Rock as a special guest and initially expected her to perform at the show before the alleged incident occurred.
But due to some scheduling conflict, Rock missed her cue, and someone subsequently escorted her off the stage.
That’s when an alleged brutal beatdown occurred backstage, per Wright. Who further claimed that Rock wore “large champion style rings” when she got physical with him.
The TV personality, who’d been keeping a relatively low profile after telling fans she was going on vacation, has now addressed the lawsuit in a new tweet.
Taking to X on Saturday (February 17), the mother of one appeared far from bothered about the complaint, insisting that Wright would lose his case.
“Dis big back b**** n**** think he ginna get a cent out of me b*** you know you just wasted yo money on dat damn lawyer right,” she wrote.
Social Media Reacts To Chrisean, And They’re Not On Her Side Either
People in the comment section of Rock’s tweet felt that it was time for the ‘Vibes’ rapper to start taking accountability for her actions, even though she may be standing her ground.
X user @killaapt2 reacted to Rock’s tweet, writing, “Just like you didn’t assault him and swore there wouldn’t be charges lol nobody believes the lies and narratives you say anymore, God woke the people up and revealed the devil in you.”

Another user seemed less than confident that things would go in Rock’s favor as the case proceeds.
@SunGoddessChel also left a comment under her tweet, which read:
“Either he get his money or you get jail time AND he gets his money. Your call sis.”

A third person had echoed similar words on the social media app, seemingly convinced that Rock would not be able to get herself out of this lawsuit.

“James about to take you for everything you got boo!!” @Novblu__ tweeted. “We know you lying cuz when the situation happened you said nun happened because there would’ve been footage and that was a lie!!
Rock went on to post another tweet, explaining why she decided to take a break and step away from social media for a while.
Ironically enough, she said that negative energy was “not even my Bob right now,” and looks forward to sharing her new projects with fans in due time.
“Yeah I took break from the socials because I’m putting my energy into my next projects fr and all dat negativity shit be not even my Bob right now my next move gon be my best move.”
