First of all, I just want to say that all heroes don’t wear capes, and your favorite fast food restaurant could neverrrrrr! We all know Chick-fil-A is known for their above average customer service but this act of heroism definitely went above and beyond.
An Atlanta area Chick-fil-A employee named #LoganSimmons was caught on camera jumping through a drive-thru window to save a six-year-old boy from choking. In the video you see Logan spot the young boy and race into action. He said: “I just jumped out the window and ran straight down to the car.”
Apparently the young boy got tangled up in his seat belt and was choking, Logan said he could hear the child’s mom screaming for help and he ran over took out his pocket knife and cut the boy free from the seatbelt.
Thankfully, Logan’s quick response saved the young boy’s life. The 19-year-old is being called a hero in his community. The mother of the six-year-old boy later went back to Chick-fil-A to thank Logan for what he did for her son.
At this point the only things left to do is promote that man! Chick-fil-A hasn’t mentioned how or if Logan will be rewarded but clearly the act alone is worth a promotion.
