TSR Take A Moment: Chicago rapper FBG Duck was reportedly killed today in a shooting in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. He was 26.
FBG Duck and two others were shot at while they were shopping late Tuesday afternoon. Authorities said two vehicles pulled up and four individuals got out and started firing, striking the three victims, according to NBC Chicago.
Graphic videos from the scene were being shared on social media. Fans were on scene, visibly upset by the shooting.
Police confirmed that a 26-year-old man, believed to be FBG Duck, was struck multiple times by the gunfire and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 36-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were also taken to area hospitals, and both were listed in serious condition, according to police.
FBG Duck was known for his 2018 hit, “Slide.” Our prayers are with his family at this time.
