A Chicago man has been sentenced to three years in prison after reportedly biting off another man’s nipple during a road rage incident last summer.
CWB Chicago reports that Kyle Clark, 36, pleaded guided on September 29 to aggravated battery of a peace officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, per court records.
Assault Suspect Has Already Earned Time Served From Electronic Monitoring Since The Incident Last Summer
Judge Lawrence Flood sentenced Clark to concurrent sentence of three years for each count, with 405 days already served for Clark’s time in custody as the case was pending.
The majority of that credit was earned with electronic monitoring, the outlet reports.
An off-duty cop and another victim, both 38-year-old men, were driving north on Lake Shore Drive around 11:40 p.m. back on August 8, 2021, when Clark’s black Volkswagen Jetta sideswiped them near Jackson Street.

The men pulled up to the Jetta and ordered Clark to stop the vehicle so they could file a crash report, with the off-duty cop identifying himself as a Chicago police officer, prosecutors said during Clark’s initial bail hearing.
Off-Duty Cop, Passenger Attacked By Clark, Who Bit The Other Man’s Nipple Off In Road Rage Incident
Clark and the man both exited their cars and began to fight, with Clark punching the cop in the face twice, prosecutors said.
When the other victim attempted to help the officer, Clark reportedly bit the man’s nipple, tearing it completely off of his body.
Clark was eventually taken into custody after on-duty officers arrived. The man who lost a nipple was transported to an area hospital, where he had the wound closed with stitches, according to the outlet.
He reportedly also had a gun on him at the time of the incident.
Clark’s sentence was a part of a plea deal with prosecutors, who dropped two counts of aggravated battery and two gun counts in exchange for a guilty plea.
While his parole date has not yet been scheduled, the three-year sentence is already technically half over according to the state’s standard good behavior discount.
Clark will likely be released in about 140 days with time-served taken under consideration.
Social Media Has Field Day With Odd Nature Of Clark’s Charges
Social media had a field day with the ridiculousness of the charges.
A Chicago man battered an off-duty CPD officer and bit the nipple off the cop’s buddy during a road rage incident Sunday night on Lake Shore Drive, prosecutors said.
